February is Disordered Eating Awareness Week across Canada

February 4-10, 2007 is Disordered Eating Awareness Week in Canada. Events are held all over the country to bring about awareness of eating disorders and related issues.

This year, Richmond, British Columbia is hosting a free public education event. The guest speakers include: Pat Roles (SW/Family Therapist/Children’s Hospital), Paul Gallant (Mental Health Provincial Programs/St. Pauls), Richmond ED Team (Vicky Klassen, Jessica Begg and Liz Mckenna), and Dean Roth (Storyteller/Drummer).

If you or a loved one have concerns, or if you wish to learn more about disordered eating, treatment and prevention, plan to attend this informative evening.
